Field Officer II (Livestock)／二級農林督察(牲畜)

Duties
A Field Officer II (Livestock) is mainly deployed to perform duties relating to livestock production and wildlife conservation work; carry out health and husbandry surveys; and undertake related regulatory duties and extension work.

(Note: May be required to work in any parts of Hong Kong; work shifts, carry out stand-by duties and stay overnight away from their base; drive a departmental vehicle, and wear uniform, if on regulatory work.)

職責
二級農林督察(牲畜)主要被調派執行有關牲畜繁殖及存護野生生物的工作；進行有關牲畜健康及護理調查的工作；以及執行有關的監管職務及推廣工作。

(註：可能須在本港任何地區工作；輪班工作、當值候命，以及在派駐基地以外的地方通宵工作；駕駛部門車輛；以及在擔任執法工作時穿著制服。)

Terms of appointment
A new recruit will normally be appointed on civil service probationary terms for three years. Upon passage of probation bar, he/she may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms.

聘用條款
獲取錄的申請人通常會按公務員試用條款受聘三年。通過試用關限後，或可獲考慮按當時適用的長期聘用條款聘用。

How to apply
Applicants must apply online through the G.F. 340 Online Application System of the Civil Service Bureau (https://www.csb.gov.hk) on or before 2 October 2026. Applicants are encouraged to provide their email addresses on the application forms. Your application will NOT be considered if late, submitted in person, by post, by fax or by email, or if you fail to provide in G.F. 340 all information as requested or it is not clear from your statements that you have the minimum qualifications, training, experience or other requirements for the job. Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation (by email or by post) in about twelve to sixteen weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.

For candidates holding qualifications obtained from academic institutions outside Hong Kong, copies of diplomas/certificates, transcripts of studies and official documents issued by the relevant academic institutions stating the mode of delivery of the study programmes should be submitted to the designated e-mail address ([email protected]) on or before 9 October 2026 with “Application for the post of Field Officer II (Livestock)” stated in the email subject. The online application number should also be quoted in the e-mail and every page of the supporting documents.

Candidates who hold academic qualifications awarded by local institutions/ Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority are not required to submit photocopies of the official transcripts and certificates at this stage of application.

申請方法
申請人必須透過公務員事務局的G.F. 340網上申請系統 (https://www.csb.gov.hk) 於二零二六年十月二日或之前作網上申請。申請人請盡量在申請表格上提供電郵地址。申請人如遲交申請書、以親身、郵寄、傳真或電郵方式遞交申請書、未能在通用表格第340號提供所需的資料或所填寫的資料未能清楚顯示申請人具有有關職位所規定最起碼的學歷、訓練、經驗或其他條件，其申請書將不獲受理。申請人如獲選參加面試，通常會在截止申請日期後約十二至十六個星期內接到通知(以電郵或郵寄方式)。如申請人未獲邀參加面試，則可視作經已落選。

持有非本地學歷的人士，須於二零二六年十月九日或之前將有關學術機構所簽發的文憑／證書、成績單及列明有關課程的授課形式的證明文件副本電郵至[email protected]，並在電郵標題註明《申請二級農林督察(牲畜)》，以及在文件每頁註明網上申請編號。

持有本地院校／香港考試及評核局所頒授學歷的申請人，在現階段毋須遞交有關修業成績副本及證書副本。
