Duties
A Part-time Senior Inspector is mainly deployed to –
(a) provide plan approval training of hull ships for Ship Inspectors and Assistant Ship Inspectors in the Plan Approval Competency Scheme;
(b) serve as mentor in the Naval Architecture Mentorship scheme;
(c) handle drawing approval matters;
(d) advise on upgrading and revisions on drawing approval standards and the work quality;
(e) assist Surveyor of Ships to communicate with ship owners and professionals on general enquiry and matters concerning drawing approval of local vessels; and
(f) discharge any other duties as and when required as assigned by seniors.
職責
兼職高級督察的主要職責如下：
(a) 為圖則審批能力計劃下的驗船督察和助理驗船督察提供船體圖則審批培訓；
(b) 擔任造船學師友計劃的導師；
(c) 處理圖則審批事宜；
(d) 就提升與修訂圖則審批標準及改善工作質素提供意見；
(e) 協助驗船主任就一般查詢及本地船隻圖則審批事宜，與船東和專業人士溝通；以及
(f) 在有需要時履行上級人員指派的任何其他職務。
Terms of appointment
Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months.
聘用條款
獲取錄的申請人將按非公務員合約條款受聘，為期12個月。
How to apply
Applicants must apply online through the G.F. 340 Online Application System of the Civil Service Bureau (https://www.csb.gov.hk) on or before the closing date for application.
Applications which are incomplete or submitted in person, by post, by fax or by e-mail will not be accepted.
After submission of online application, applicants should submit copies of the required supporting documents mentioned below by e-mail to
[email protected] on or before 9 October 2026. The title of the post being applied for and the online application number should be quoted in the e-mail subject and on the copies of the supporting documents.
The required supporting documents are as follows –
(a) copies of certificates and transcripts showing the subjects studied in support of the academic qualification; and
(b) copies of supporting documents of work experience showing the nature of work / positions held.
If candidates fail to provide the supporting documents as required, their applications will not be considered. Applicants must provide their e-mail addresses on the application forms. Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation by e-mail in about six to eight weeks from the closing date for application (applicants are responsible for ensuring that the provided e-mail addresses can receive the invitations). Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.

申請人須提交以下證明文件﹕
(a) 學歷證書和印有選修科目的修業成績表副本；以及
(b) 印有工作性質或職位名稱的工作證明文件副本。
如申請人未能提供所需文件，其申請概不受理。申請人必須於申請書內提供一個電郵地址。獲選參加面試的申請人通常會在截止申請日期後約六至八個星期內以電郵方式接獲通知（申請人有責任確保所提供的電郵地址能接收有關獲邀通知）。如申請人未獲邀參加面試，則可視作已經落選。
